Paramount Planning Newsletter

Happy New Year and welcome to our first edition for 2021! We hope you had an enjoyable break over the holiday season.

With 2021 now in full swing it seems that there is no shortage of topical issues that will continue to influence our lives, both financially and from a health perspective. We have had ongoing covid outcomes, the bedding down of US economic policy now with the election out of the way while closer to home there have been trade issues affecting our country along with upcoming changes to Jobkeeper, Jobseeker and economic packages designed to bolster the economy.

Who would have thought a year ago that the way we holiday or even work from home would have been so dramatically different today.

Recent Impacts on financial markets, the property market, interest rates, tax rates, employment and even such areas as the purchase of a car, caravan or other material items have made us re-evaluate and plan our day to day lives.

In this addition of the newsletter we look at different life insurance products, what they cover and what you should check before taking out a policy.

Investing can be daunting for some. This article provides some insight into diversification and how it can benefit you.

Finally, here’s a few delicious summer recipes to try on the BBQ.

If there are areas that are financially affecting yourselves or you are in need of financial planning advice, contemplating changes to work or even early retirement please let us know, by contacting us on 08 8431 0733 or email Stuart Wigney at stuart@paramountsa.com.au or Ben Way at ben@paramountsa.com.au.
